THE PAINS OF CHILDBIRTH
“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow
and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth
children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he
shall rule over thee.”

Two days ago on my birthday as I was taking a shower,
my thoughts went to my Mother. I remember her telling
me that she had a lot of pain when she gave birth to me.
I really miss my Mother however she is not hurting and
suffering any longer. She died on Christmas day several years ago. While I was recalling the difficult time Mom said she had giving birth to me, God spoke to my heart and said “I had a much more difficult time giving birth to you. My Son stood at the door to your heart knocking for many years but you ignored and rejected Him.”
How sad it is that the Saviour of the world stands at the door of our hearts knocking and we either ignore Him or refuse to open the door and let Him come into our hearts to be our personal Saviour. How we must break the heart of our precious Saviour. One day, all of us will stand before a Holy God and give an account of the way we treated His beloved Son. Our Heavenly Father wants us to be born again into His family. However, the only way to become a child of God is to believe and accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross of Calvary.
There must be a time in our lives when we stop living for satan and start living for Jesus. We must humble ourselves, confess that we are sinners and open the door of our hearts to Jesus and invite Him in to be our personal Saviour. Have you invited the Christ of Calvary into your heart to be your personal Saviour? If not, you are not a child of God and He is still having pains because you refuse to be born again through the precious blood of Jesus.
