***MINISTRY** ***UPDATES**
The week after Easter 2006, my wife and I were involved in the Eternity play at a church near our home. We were assigned our roles on a Thursday, practiced Friday night and all day Saturday, then had our first of five shows Saturday night! Here are some photos we would like to share with you.

Many came to a saving knowledge of Christ this week. Isn't it awesome!
The entire cast of our Eternity play!

Jesus is Lord and He is risen!
The Beautiful angels!
My wife is the second one in from the right!
Ben and Doug AKA Satan
This is Ben, who directed the Eternity production, and Doug, who played the role of Satan.
Satan and his demons!
Satan and his demons cast a child who hated God into the Pit.
My scene
Here are the people who played in my scene, Addictions. I played Eric, a young man addicted to internet porn, and the young lady played my alcoholic wife, Jennifer. In the play we were both firmly in the grasp of Satan, despite the attempts of Pastor Mike to tell us about Jesus' love. We were both cast into the Pit at the end of our scene.
This Just In!!!
While this Ministry Update does not directly pertain to the work of Unrapped Ministries in South America or Africa, I was moved to mention this information I just received (06/18/06) from Voice of the Martyrs. The picture is of Pastor M. Aharon, as he was being beaten by radical Hindus for distributing Christian literature and while the police just looked on. Praise the Lord that he survived this brutal attack in the town of Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, located about 300 miles east of Bombay in central India. A mob of about 100 Hindu radicals cheered on the attack on Pastor Aharon. Not only did the police just stand by and watch the assault, but they also prevented him from escaping until it was almost too late for him to survive. Pastor Aharon has done a mighty work for Christ in India, leading over 700 Hindus and Muslims to faith in the Savior and establishing 12 churches. Please pray for Pastor Aharon and the church of Christ in India.
Church Persecution in China
Reading through the Christian News, I was struck by the following. We really have it made in Western countries. Please pray for Pastor Zhang and the House Church movement in China. China sentences underground pastor to 7.5 years in prison Sat Jul 8, 4:17 AM ET China has sentenced the head of an underground church group with several million members to seven and a half years in prison, a US-based rights group says. A court in central China's Henan province sentenced Zhang Rongliang, head of the China for Christ house church, formely known as Fangcheng, on June 29, the rights group said. He was sentenced on charges of "attaining a passport through cheating" and "illegal border crossing," said Bob Fu, president of the Texas-based China Aid Association. "Zhang had used a fake passport to travel to the United States and Australia to attend conferences because the government would not issue a passport to him," Fu told AFP by telephone. The Chinese government regularly denies passports to leaders of house churches, whose congregations are not registered and do not welcome government monitoring. The Zhongmu City People's Court, which sentenced Zhang, did not reveal the verdict until Tuesday, Fu said. Zhang had previously been arrested several times and has served a total of 12 years in prison for organizing church activities for his group. His sentencing came more than a year and a half after his last arrest in December 1, 2004. "His family plans to appeal," Fu said, but chances of the court accepting the appeal is slim. The Fangcheng group, which has branches in many parts of China, was one of the religious groups targetted by the government during its "anti-cult" movement launched after it outlawed the meditation-based Falungong spiritual movement in 1999. Following Zhang's arrest, authorities confiscated Christian DVDs and other material from his house that allegedly linked him to Chirstians overseas, said the US-based Christian group Compass Direct, whose statement Fu released in an email. Zhang's sentencing followed several court hearings in April. It came despite the Zhongmu City People's Court acknowledging that "there was insufficient evidence and ambiguous facts," and submitting the case to the Zhengzhou City Intermediate People's Court in the provincial capital for legal advice, Compass Direct said. Zhang has been hospitalized for part of his time in custody due to health problems. He suffers from chronic diseases, including high blood pressure and severe diabetes, and under Chinese law qualifies to ask for medical parole. Copyright © 2006 Agence France Presse.
Promise Keepers 2006 in Jacksonville
Just got back from a truly incredible experience at the Promise Keepers Conference. I will be adding some additional resources to the bookstore this week reflecting my experiences there.
Rebecca St. James Devotional on Foregiveness
I just added a really incredible devotional sent to me by Rebecca St. James. You can reach it via a link in the Daily Devotional section. It features the video "Forgive Me" by Barlow Girl, a message from Rebecca, and a short, printable study for use by you or your small group at church. Feel free to recommend it to a friend.
Daily Manna from the 'Net
Daily Manna from the 'Net, an incredible daily reading of God's Word, has been added to some of the foreign-language sections of the Gospel Store. The Spanish Scriptures section of the Gospel Store has Daily Manna in Latin American Spanish and the Foreign Language Bibles section has Daily Manna in Korean. If you would like Daily Manna added in your native language, please send us an email.
